REPORTS

Treasurer K. Merrifield's report was circulated and is attached to the Minutes in the Minute Book.

Shed Manager Claude reported that the kitchen, office and social areas were satisfactory, but he did stress that the workshop was sadly in need of constant attention by the members using it. Tools lying on benches and not being replaced were leading to losses.

Equipment Officer Graham once again stressed that if any tool was not working or obviously broken, he should be immediately notified. This also applies to all equipment, be it workshop, kitchen or barbecues. Ken Merrifield will be in touch with the Berry Market tool vendor to see if he will take some of our miscellaneous items.

Project Officer Ray advised that most of our projects are up to date. Bill Owens and his team (working like beavers on meeting day to fulfil a six trap order for Shellharbour Council) are almost on top of their orders. Ray and his trailer team are working to bring it up to date. Ken has replaced and repacked the bearings and Ron Myers has donated four tyres, if suitable, from his car.

Fund Raising Officer Allan advised that the Bowling Club Market Day was most successful and almost a complete sell out. Secretary Alan reports that there were many compliments on our choice of menu and the use of rolls instead of bread.

Allan also advised that the River Cruise on Wednesday 24th March 2010 for the Bekhom School tour of the Heads has been confirmed - cost is $26 each to members and wives. A number of Red Cross officials are expected to also join us. There will be a barbecue at the Shed Park on our return. Members not going on the cruise are asked to please be available to assist in preparation for the lunch whilst the cruise is on the river. There will be more information at the next two months' meetings.

Secretary Alan also advised that the wheels on the barbecue need to be replaced by more sturdy units. So moved by C. Pennells, seconded W. Owens. Alan will purchase, Nelson will attach. CARRIED
It was moved by A. Foster, seconded by C. Tipping, that the reports be received. CARRIED
