MINUTES OF GENERAL MEETING HELD AT THE SHED ON
5th DECEMBER 2011
President Bill opened the meeting with a welcome at 12 noon.
Present: As per the Attendance Book - 15 members.
Apologies: Nil. Minutes of the Previous Meeting: Moved B. Patten, seconded A. Foster, that the minutes as circulated be confirmed. CARRIED
Matters Arising from the Minutes:
" Defibrillator - Shane Bonsall, N.S.W. Fire Brigade Officer, attended the Shed on Wednesday 23rd November 2011 for a demonstration of the defibrillator, which was well attended by Shed Members. Shane also offered to conduct a further demonstration in the New Year, if needed.

4. Christmas cards were forwarded to selected Shed supporters and businesses. Card list is filed with all cards in filing cabinet. Look for the pink plastic envelope.
It was moved by G. Russell, seconded R. Tilley, that Correspondence In be received and Out be endorsed. CARRIED
Business Arising from Correspondence: Nil.
REPORTS. President Bill reported that he was most pleased with all Shed members and the support they have offered for our current projects. He also offered Christmas Greetings from both himself and wife Brenda.
Treasurer Ken circulated the financial statement to the meeting as posted in these minutes.
Shed Manager Ben offered his thanks to those members who assisted in the repainting of the Christmas signs and also thanked those that helped on Saturday 3rd December to raise them on the poles. Ben also advised he has made arrangements to pick up timber from Vincentia.
Project Manager Ray reported on Work Orders -
No. 312 Lisa Hood completed with thanks and donation of $50
No. 318 Pre School timber on sandpit boat
No. 322 Pre School Attention to ladder.
Mrs. Mallard and mother, Mrs. Cronin Garage cleaned out by Terry Ryan - thank
you and Christmas Card received.
It must be recorded that a donation of $50 has been received from Alan and Jo Weekes for assistance rendered by shed members. Receipt delivered.
Tool Maintenance Graham reported that all tools and machines are operating in good order. Any tools for sale will be offered on E-bay/Gum Tree.
Fund Raising Allan reported that although we have not had any fund raising activities in the past month we have been active showing the flag at such events as the 150th Primary School Anniversary as well as their Chicken Run Building Programme.
Secretary Please be advised that if members do receive any monies for either sale of tools, Myna birdcages, donations or for any other reason, a receipt MUST be made out with Shed stamp and the usual procedure of money handling. Receipt book and stamp are available on the desk. If needed please make the donor or buyer wait while receipt is made out.
It was moved by K. Merrifield, seconded B. Patten, that the reports be received.

¢ Gutters. It was decided to check gutters 1st Monday of each month.
¢ Impact Drill (Makita)- K. Merrifield will check price and report.
¢ Temora Trip - Terry Ryan to report and organise.
¢ Wine Racks - Graham to measure and cost.
¢ Barbecue - A request from a member asking if there could be a review of the monthly barbecue menu.
¢ Albatross Museum - Write to Clelland Lodge and R.S.L. Care re date Tuesday 14th February 2012.
¢ Shed Improvements - B. Patten and R. Steingrube have volunteered to check out
" Gutter Improvements - Measure, price and report
" Workshop and Machine Room - Measure, price and report.
" Hardie plaster and bats - Measure, price and report.
¢ New Computer Screen - K. Merrifield - price and report.
¢ New Printer - It must be noted that we now have a new printer donated by Patrick Duggan and installed with the assistance of K. Merrifield. Patrick is also working on the new Shed card requested by Secretary.
There being no further business, President Bill closed the meeting at 1.25 p.m. after another Christmas/New Year Greeting and a reminder that there will be NO meeting in January 2012. NEXT MEETING - MONDAY 6TH FEBRUARY 2012
