MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD AT THE SHED
ON WEDNESDAY 5TH AUGUST 2009
President Graham opened the meeting at 12.10 p.m.
Present: As per the Attendance Book - 17 members.
Apologies: R. Plumb, T. Aspin, J. Davis, A. Foster, R. Harlow, C. Tipping, P. Bounds, B. Molyneux, H. Meehan, R. Randall.
Minutes: It was moved by C. Pennells, seconded C. Chambers, that the minutes as circulated be confirmed. CARRIED
Matters Arising from the Minutes: Nil.
Correspondence In:
Meningococcal Foundation - Letter of thanks;
Mrs. J. Hillier - Letter of thanks;
Bomaderry Bowling Club - re C.D.S.E. Funding.
Correspondence Out:
Mr. & Mrs. C. Chambers - Invitation to their farewell;
N.S.W. Community Building Partnership (C.B.F.) - Application for funding.
It was moved by W. London, seconded B. Owens, that Correspondence In be received and Out endorsed. CARRIED
Business Arising from Correspondence:
IN. Invitation from Bomaderry Bowling Club to attend morning tea will be accepted for Friday 21st August at 10.00 a.m. and the Shed will be represented by President Graham and five members.
OUT. Treasurer Ken gave an explanation of our funding application for the extension to the C.B.F.
REPORTS
Treasurer Ken circulated his report to the members present and which is attached to these minutes in the Minute Book. Ken also delivered a report on a Council inspection conducted over the weekend.
Shed Manager. The meeting welcomed back Claude Williams after a foot operation. He stressed that the storeroom needs a proper clean up and clean out. Please keep benches tidy. Arrangements will be made to make a day exclusively for Shed Tidy-up and clean out to the tip; including old roofing from picnic shelters.
Project Manager. In Ray's absence it was reported that the workbook is being kept up to date, but that a concerted effort is needed to complete the picnic shelters and Community notice boards at the village entrance.
Secretary reports -
Job No. 154 Mrs. Hillier completed Donation $50
Equipment Officer reports that we have purchased a new M.I.G. welder that has been used by Nelson to this date satisfactorily. We have also been donated a Super Saw by Howard Stevenson of No. 32 Hay Avenue. A letter of thanks will be delivered.
Fund Raising. Report on Bunnings July Barbecue. Letters to be forwarded to Bunnings for any further 2009 dates, also to Shoalhaven Heads Bowling Club applying to have a barbecue stand at their 5th Saturday Market Days.
It was moved by Cliff Chambers, seconded R. Myers that the reports be accepted.

Special Announcement. Secretary made mention of the farewell to Cliff and Christine Chambers at the Shed on Friday 7th August 2009.
GENERAL BUSINESS
Secretary asked that photos be made available for our Albums as the last photos are dated July 2008.
Cliff Chambers spoke to the meeting on his membership of this Shed and the happy times and company of the members. He also requested that we record his resignation. Request will be denied for the present.
There being no further General Business the meeting closed at 1.40 p.m.
The next meeting will be held on Wednesday 2nd September at 12.30 p.m. preceded by the barbecue at 11.30 a.m.
