MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD AT THE SHED
ON MONDAY 6TH DECEMBER 2010


President Bill opened the meeting with a welcome at 12.15 p.m.
Present: As per Attendance Book - 12 members.
Apologies: C. Pennells, G. Russell, K. Merrifield, C. Chambers (ringing from Queensland).
Minutes: It was moved by R. Tilley, seconded B. Patten, that the Minutes of the November Meeting as circulated be confirmed.

Matters Arising from the Minutes:
" T. Shirts - There has been a glitch in the T. Shirt order but should be ready soon.
" Christmas Signs - Have been placed on the poles (Saturday 27/11/10).
" Gardens - Rob Stewart and team have placed plants around Shed.
" Trailer - Ben is still in discussion with his son-in-law regarding trailer.

Correspondence In:
1. Integral Energy - Christmas Signs - approval.
2. Shoalhaven City Council - Clean Up Day - notice - (Sunday March 6th).
3. Shoalhaven City Council - Gate construction estimate - Approved.

Correspondence Out:
Family of the late Max Primrose - Sympathy Card
It was moved by R. Tilley, seconded B. Patten, that Correspondence In be received and Out be endorsed. CARRIED

Business Arising: Nil.

REPORTS
President Bill thanked the members for their attendance at the Shed over the past year and wished all members a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Treasurer.
In his absence, Secretary Alan circulated Treasurer Ken's report to the members present. The report is also attached to these minutes in the Minute Book.
Shed Manager
Claude reported everything up to date at the moment - members are making an effort to clean up after themselves.
Project Manager
Ray reported that there are only two jobs in the Work Book at the time of this meeting. Jobs completed 231, 235, 245, 248 249 Donation $5, 251 $20, 252 $50, 253 $10, 254 $10
Well done members.

Tool Maintenance Linisher belt replaced but disk still to be attached.

Fund Raising Officer
Allan Foster thanked members for assisting with the various food stalls over the year. The next is the Red Cross Twilight Markets on Sunday 16th January 2.30 to 7.00 p.m. He sent a work sheet around for the members.
Secretary Alan brought up the urgent need for members to address the use of the Loan Book - currently in the lower drawer of the office desk. You must use this as tools will "go missing" if it is not filled in. Trailer should be ordered ahead (see Ray Plumb or Secretary).

" Photos. Alan brought up the need for responsible members to look after the taking of photos and charging batteries. Volunteers were R. Steingrube, R. Plumb and B. Owens.
" Clelland Lodge has invited a few members to have lunch with their residents in January, as they are not coming out to us. The suggested date is Wednesday 19th January (time will be advised). B. Owens, G. Russell, A. Webb, R. Steingrube, and J. Cook will attend.

It was moved by R. Stewart, seconded R. Steingrube, that the reports be received. CARRIED

GENERAL BUSINESS
" Insulation and lining of machine and workshop areas - some discussion took place and the Executive will measure and price.
" Preschool - request from preschool for loan of barbecue and use of electricity for Friday 10th December Christmas Party - Allan Foster volunteered to access barbecue and electricity for Preschool. APPROVED
" Brigade Reunion - request from retired members of Brigade Auxiliary to borrow barbecues for their reunion on Sunday 23rd January at 5 p.m. Alan Webb will look after this. APPROVED
" Nelson - has a saw for sale - $40.
" Ben - asked if he could construct a folding table in the storeroom to rest drying painted material. He will be assisted by Nelson in this project. APPROVED

There being no further business the meeting closed at 1.20 p.m.
Merry Christmas, Happy New Year. There will be no General Meeting in January. The next meeting will be held on Monday 7th February 2011 - barbecue at 11.30 a.m. and meeting at 12.30 p.m.
