SHOALHAVEN HEADS MEN'S SHED INC. MINUTES OF MEETING HELD AT THE SHED ON MONDAY 6TH SEPTEMBER 2010


President Bill opened the meeting with a welcome at 12.30 p.m.
Present: As per Attendance Book - 14 members.
Apologies: Don Driscoll and Nelson Alfonso.
Minutes of the Previous Meeting: It was moved by A. Foster, seconded G. Russell, that the Minutes of the August Meeting as circulated be confirmed. CARRIED

REPORTS
President Bill reported that our guests from Clelland Lodge enjoyed the fish and chip luncheon provided by the Heads Hotel and paid for by the Shed. Eight guests and seven members were in attendance. Secretary Alan advised that Terry Power had recently died and a card has been forwarded to Mrs. Power care of Clelland Lodge. Bill has been most pleased with all members working well during the month, especially in keeping the workshop areas tidy.

Treasurer's Report was circulated and is attached to these minutes in the Minute Book.

Shed Manager not in attendance. However Ben Patten has spent the past week in personally cleaning up the Store Room. Well done.

Project Manager Ray informed the meeting that there appears to be only two jobs remaining in the Work Book. He also reports that the job asked for by former member D. Riddell has been completed by G. Russell and B. Owens. Dave gave the Shed a donation for our efforts.

Tools Maintenance Manager informed the meeting that the lathe has a crack and cannot be used until repaired or replaced. A donation of a band saw has been made by Russell Harding (Bawden Ave. Shoalhaven Heads). A thank you has been forwarded.

Fund Raising. Allan informed the meeting that the Election Day barbecue was very successful and gave figures supplied by Treasurer Ken. A list was sent around for volunteers to man the Red Cross Market Day barbecue on October 2nd.

Secretary - no report.

GENERAL BUSINESS
" Red Cross Flyer. Secretary Alan asked the meeting to endorse the flyer for the October Market. The meeting agreed that the copy needed only the change of date.
" Opening Day. Owing to the apology received 1st September from Matt Brown, it was decided to postpone the official opening to a future date and call Saturday 11th September an Open Day. Official invited guests will be informed of the change.
There being no further business, the meeting was closed at 1.30 p.m.
The next meeting will be held on Monday 4th October - barbecue at 11.30 a.m. and meeting at 12.30 p.m.
