REPORTS
Treasurer Ken provided the meeting with the Petty Cash Account but apologised that the General Account has yet to be finalised as he has just returned from leave. He will take over the books today from Richard Steingrube.

Shed Manager. No report from Claude.

Project Manager reports that the following jobs have been completed by various members to the satisfaction of the people concerned and their donations recorded.
Job No. 179 C. Williams Donation $50
Job No. 180 Moore " $10
Job No. 201 Weekes " $30
Job No. 202 Mangold " $50
Job No. 203 Elliott " $5

Manager Ray has stressed the importance of the following procedures. When receiving a request for work to be done PLEASE record name, phone number, job number, work required - all in the Work Book. If you receive any donation, place in envelope with Job No. on outside and amount of donation. DO NOT leave on desk - personally hand to either Ray Plumb or Alan Webb who will then correctly record in the Work Book in order that it can be acknowledged in the minutes. Sounds too hard? - Just imagine what we have to do to identify an envelope with money in it.

Equipment Officer reports that member Ben Patten donated a router and Triton work centre. Also donated were various workshop items by member Nev. McGuire.

Fund Raising. Report received on Bunnings 30th November barbecue. Very poor crew attendance, very good result. Much discussion took place on the merits of Bunnings barbecues and the constant problems of crews. A verbal request has been received from the Secretary of Red Cross to man their food outlet on 12th December and also to take over in 2010. It was moved by B. Molyneux, seconded P. Shalala, that in future the request for crews at all barbecues be circulated for names and that the Catering Committee sort out times of attendance. CARRIED

K. Merrifield, seconded B. Molyneux, moved the acceptance of the reports and to include the Red Cross Markets on 12th December in our calendar as a show of hands confirmed that transport and crews would be readily available on that day. Secretary to contact Lee Duhigg ASAP. CARRIED
